| PDG Lion Ruth Smith will be guest speaker for the next meeting of the Florence Evening Lions Club and will present a program on the Lions Peace Poster Contest. Shown is the 2003 - 2004 winning poster by 12 year old Vittoria Sansebastiano from Nove Ligure, Italy. Explaining the meaning of her winning poster she said, "The candle flame represents lighting the path to a brighter tomorrow, and the candle wax mixes together peace from the different countries of the world." More than 350,000 youngsters from around the world praticipated this year.

EVENING LIONS COMMITT TO HURRICANE CHARLEY RELIEF FUND The Florence Evening Lions Club voted to send $500 to LCIF to help those affected by Hurricane Charley. This donation will help people in Florida with basic needs such as food, clothing and medical items. REMEMBER OUR OWN Please remember our fellow Evening Lions who would very much like to, but are unable to attend our meetings.
