The Annual Toy Run Parade is the Florence Lions Club's major fundraiser. The proceeds from this event go to charitable causes in the Pee Dee area. The event will be conducted on December 7, 2008. Riders assemble at the Florence Civic Center, parade through Florence to the Eastern Carolina Fairgrounds on Highway 76 (East of Francis Marion University) where BBQ will be served, the raffle will be held, and an auction will be conducted. Raffle tickets and "T" shirts will be sold on November 15, 2008 at Doug's Harley Davidson on TV Road in Florence. Florence Lions Club members will continue to sell tickets until the raffle on December 7, 2008.
