LifePoint is the South Carolina organ donor bank. The former Lions Eye Bank merged with LifePoing a few years ago. We encourage individuals to complete organ donor cards, particularly eye donatons which are crucial in eye research conducted at the SC Lions Eye Research Center in the Storm Eye Institue at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Lion volunteers transport donor organs throughout the state of South Carolina.
